TAC AA 2.0 is a compact EDC flashlight, no bigger than a fingertip, designed with a minimalist tactical style for easy portability. It offers two LED options: the red/blue version is equipped with an SFT-25R LED, providing a beam distance of up to 360 meters; while the black version is the high-brightness model, with a maximum output of 1000 lumens. It is compatible with standard AA batteries, making it easy to purchase and replace. Does TAC AA 2.0 offer two LED options? Does ACEBEAM offer LED replacement service?
Yes, two LED options: • Luminus SFT-25R 6500K LED — max output 900 lumens, max throw 360 meters • Cool white 6500K TN LED — max output 1000 lumens, max throw 280 meters ACEBEAM does not offer LED replacement services. Do not replace the LEDs privately, as this may affect performance and damage the product.
How do I get started?
Before first use, please remove the insulating film at the tail of the battery.
What kind of battery is included?
1 x ACEBEAM 14500 USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery (included).
How do I install the battery?
Insert the battery with the positive (+) end pointing toward the flashlight head. TAC AA 2.0 also accepts standard AA Alkaline or Ni-MH batteries, though maximum output may be reduced compared to the included 14500 Li-ion.
How do I turn it ON/OFF?
Fully single-click the tail switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
How do I select brightness output?
When the light is OFF, half-press the switch or rapidly fully-click the switch to cycle through brightness levels.
How do I switch between operation modes?
When the light is OFF, conduct Output Selection more than 20 times in a row, then turn the light ON. The light will start flashing to indicate which mode is active (flashes once = Mode 1, twice = Mode 2, and so on, 6 modes total). Then quickly conduct Output Selection once to enter the next mode. • Mode 1: Low, Turbo • Mode 2: Low, Med, High, Turbo • Mode 3: Low, Med, High, Turbo, Strobe • Mode 4: Low, Med, High, Turbo, SOS • Mode 5: Turbo, High, Med, Low • Mode 6: Turbo
