I wasn't sure about the Marauder Mini 2, but since it's a Roadster I finally broke down and got it. Now I really like it. It's definitely bigger and heavier than I'm used to, but the light it gives off is great. I'll probably use it alot to see in the attic.

This new Marauder Mini 2 Stonewash Stars and Stripes is absolutely amazing. Love the look and size. Has great weight and power. Comes with a carrying case and has a far throw. You will enjoy this light if you don't own one yet. 🇺🇲🥰

the Marauder mini just another great light from olight first I love the case that it came with and next from a spot that stays tight to half and half next to a flood that really lights up an area and the red light so you don't lose your night vision. All around great light

This thing is powerful, when you turn it on it is like haveing the sun in the palm of your hand. I use this when going to night rides in the middle of the forest and this thing throws a beam for an extremely long way then I switch it to flood to see everything else.

I have over 10 Olight flash lights. Every one with a built in battery eventually dies. I would buy both Marauders if they had owner replaceable batteries. It's a very difficult thing to have a light that needs to be sent in for battery replacement. When you make the Marauders with User replaceable non OEM only batteries.... let me know and I will buy more.

My only negative, and the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is that I paid around $200 for a flashlight that doesn’t even come with a charger. For that price point, it really feels like it should be included. Honestly, it makes me a bit concerned about the direction Olight might be heading — cutting corners to benefit the company at the cost of the customer. Hopefully that’s not the case, but it definitely took some shine off an otherwise great product.

I was almost little disappointed- in myself for not noticing before buying- that the flashlight wasn't like the mini, with the red, green, blue lights. It does have red mode, and the green/blue are omitted for the higher light output. One of my favorite features of the mini is the multi mode light colors like used in many of my videos-

I'm sure a future release of this light will have them back in play.

The other features - carry case, USB charging, side light, and flood/spotlight, that the mini doesn't have are great, but not enough to warrant bringing this light over the mini on hikes. The weight came in at 16.4 Oz vs 16.35 of the mini, so negligible for the additional whatt/hr provided by the battery, which is the most valuable upgrade in my opinion. Double tap turbo and triple tap strobe is nice.
I do now find myself patiently awaiting the next version, bringing back the multi color light with the rest of the other upgrades now.

The Marauder mini two is a nice light with the option of usb-c charging with magnetic charging too. I had a problem with the first one they sent (it had a dead spot in one of the leds) but of course they replaced it with a new one immediately upon contacting them about the situation.Olight does have some of the best customer service but the new light seems to lack where the original marauder mini model excelled. I like the vibration that the original model has along with the crispness of the switch that changes the light from flood to spot etc. vs the newer marauder mini 2 model. I like having more lumens with the newer one (which I can definitely see) and the option of having it on flood/spot/both when I am picking the light source. It is expensive but compared to models like it from other brands it’s close price wise especially when bought on sale. There are other lights that have almost the same features for cheaper but they are made cheaper and lack features these have and the feel/ ease of adjustment of any Olight is one of the best on the market today imho.They are also well built and boast a lifetime warranty. They do have proprietary batteries but you can buy spares from them “if” needed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bright light with spot, flood or both, red light or a side light as well. Plus it has a 7500mah battery that allows for long use in between charges.

It would be more stars had they kept the vibration to let you know immediately without looking if it was all the was up or down.The red is a bit brighter than the original marauder mini but not by much and the new one I received had dead/dark spot in the center of the red LEDs which they sent me a new one out as soon as I brought up the issue. The usb c port on the tailcap is awesome and I’m glad they added that. I’m glad they went with a 7500mah battery vs the 6500mah the original came with. Would recommend but grab it on sale for an unbeatable price.

Mine says it comes in monday, perfect since I start a new job that requires me to walk around at night, it should pair well with my oclips and original mini marauder!.. plus it'll fit nicely with its family.

I have the original and this one. this one's way better. but with the Omni charger you can't see the light and the charging light on the dial doesn't show up when your magnetic charging. can we do a firmware update so when your magnetic charging the light on the dial lights up also like when using USB-C?

You don't get loyalty points from amazon. If I had only purchased on this website with my account I would probably be blue Diamond lol. But unfortunately I'm only platinum. So buy on the Olight website and earn all those points and perks.

the new mini has come in and dare i say it is a slight improvement. i only say slight because they got rid of the blue and green lights. the green helped with hunting trips, but the little side light makes up for it, especially while writing reports in the car! I just wish they made a circuit styled one that I could have bought to match with my original mini.

I just received my Marauder Mini 2 and I think it is a great light. It does all of the things that I want a flashlight to do and they are all right at my finger tips. The controls are intuitive and the choices are exactly what I want. The added ability to use distance and flood together works great for seeing what is around and ahead of you while walking the dog or just walking. It fits well in the hand and I think it has just become my go to flashlight.

Absolutely love this light. The spotlight function is incredible. I’m an electrician and having this in an attic is perfect for when I don’t want to where a headlamp. Worth every penny, especially when it’s on sale! So glad bought this!

-- A laser is recommended by some people

-- Offer an optional base cap for the previous model Marauder Mini, that would have a USB-C port like the new Marauder Mini 2 now has. (Maybe the USB base from the 'Mini 2' is a direct screw-on replacement/upgrade for the original Marauder Mini. I think a lot of current Marauder Mni owners would buy a replacement cap that has a USB port; if it is reasonably priced.)

This is the Marauder Mini I wish they had when I bought mine a couple of years ago. I wrote to Olight to say that I will never again buy any flash light that doesn't have USB-C charging. In a real SHTF emergency, if the Olight proprietary magnetic charger cable becomes lost there will be no way to charge it. In a SHTF situation there is a better that 50/50 that any abandoned car on the street will have a USB cable in it. Conversely the odds of finding an Olight magnetic charging cable in an abandoned car are slim to none. I'm glad that they came to their senses.

Received the Mini Marauder 2 about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It’s my favorite flashlight now. If I could only own just one I’d take this one. I’ve used it so much in time I’ve had it and it lights up the night.

This thing is awesome! Reminds me of UFO's and spaceships. Pretty cool! The switch could have a better feel to it. The plastic dial feels like a weak point in such a sturdy light.
