Dive Lights

For diving in the UAE, Lumens stocks two dedicated Acebeam dive flashlights: the Acebeam D20 2.0 (1,800 lumens, 5,000K neutral white, rated to 200 m, AED 449) and the brighter Acebeam D30 (5,600 lumens, rated to 100 m, AED 699). Both are genuine, AED-priced and backed by manufacturer warranty with local support.

A real dive light is depth-rated and pressure-sealed — not just “waterproof.” A standard IPX8 EDC torch survives a splash or a brief dunk; a dive light is engineered to hold out seawater at depth, dive after dive, with double-sealed switches, corrosion-hardened aluminium and a beam that cuts through silty Gulf water. Are these real dive lights or just waterproof torches?
Both are purpose-built dive lights with depth ratings (D20 2.0 to 200 m, D30 to 100 m) and corrosion-hardened bodies — a different class of sealing to an IPX8 EDC torch, which is only rated for brief, shallow submersion.

Which is brighter, the D20 2.0 or the D30?
The D30, at 5,600 lumens versus the D20 2.0’s 1,800. But the cheaper D20 2.0 is rated to twice the depth (200 m vs 100 m) and uses a warmer, more natural neutral-white beam.
